Bob Kerr

With over 14 years experience in the profession, Bob Kerr is regarded as one of the pioneers of business coaching in Australia. Using his breadth of commercial experience and in-depth knowledge, Bob is able to tailor programs to meet the individual needs and objectives of businesses across a range of industries. “Business Coaching Systems delivers unique programs that helps workgroups to focus on areas that improves  their outcomes. It provides them with the tools to go away and successfully implement positive changes.”  With a special focus on small to medium sized enterprise, Bob believes that one of the key advantages from business coaching is that it provides a company a new way of looking at itself and helps to identify opportunities for growth.

“It is such a common thing for principals of companies to work in the business rather than on it. Business coaches can help managers take a step back and focus on the things they need to, like building the business.”

Bob has also chaired a number of conferences such as the Rapid Solutions Conference, which is in its sixth year, and the Rotary Annual Conference, which has around 750 attendees each year.

As well as his business activities, Bob is also involved with charities and has chaired the Australia Day celebrations in the Maitland area which brings in around 4000 participants to enjoy the day’s events .

He holds a Diploma in Financial Planning from Deakin University and has performed more than 400 business planning workshops with clients in a range of industries including the accounting, manufacturing and service areas.

In addition to conducting Business Coaching Systems assignments both across Australia and internationally, Bob is also involved in training new coaches. He offers services in strategic planning, operations planning, performance management and executive coaching.
