Performance Management

Question: what should organisations use to help improve performance?

Answer: The BCS 3 Steps To Perfect Performance Management™ service.

The Benefit: Systematic Integrated Organisational and Job Design
                        - coupled with interactive goal setting and performance reviews

The BCS 3 Step is about closing the performance gap: the gap between performance and potential. Closing that is, we believe, the easiest way to improve the bottom line. Having worked with over 4,000 workgroups or over 20,000 people, we have regularly noted that 85% of all the things that are done in any business - to deliver the product or services of that business - have the potential for performance improvement. Improvement without changing the team or the resources assigned. And what is more, most of the time the team in question already knows how! This program is designed to achieve improvement through stting up an effective, interactive goal setting process coupled with efficient performance review system.

The 3 Steps Program:

Schedule: Step one is typically completed at an on-site facilitated workshop - as are the follow up replication
conducted by the executives within their organisation shortly after the executive event.
On-site implementation meetings are held when the output documentation from step one.
Facilitation of the roll-out replication step is as required.

Who will make this happen?

Executive commitment is the single most essential element. Beyond that the role of the BCS coach is important at the initial step. There, as the objective facilitator and as expert in gaining group consensus, the coach helps the executive team agree to the framework and the roll-out of the program – including variations like incorporating matrix-style structures.

Business Coaching Systems works with teams in a non-confrontational and inclusive way that empowers and inspires the whole group to devise the perfect way to close their own performance gap. With BCS coaching workgroups increase efficiency while also lift moral and passion along the way. On further steps the role of the coach is mainly to advise on methodology and provide education as needed.
